Como manager Cesc Fabregas has shut down suggestions he could leave the club this summer following their Champions League qualification.

The 39-year-old has worked wonders since taking over at Como, taking them to the Champions League two seasons after been promoted to the Serie A.

Fabregas has been heavily linked with several jobs over the past couple of months, but he has no intention of leaving the Italian club anytime soon.

"Future? We had a long meeting at 2pm with the president and the director," Fabregas told [a href="https://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/news-calcio/como-fabregas-futuro-abbiamo-fatto-una-riunione-con-la-dirigenza-stiamo-creando-una-mentalita-492726"]Sky Sport[/a].

"We have consolidated the idea; the vision is already on the next season. I am very happy here; as you know, I am missing a step or two more, and I am learning a lot. We are creating a mentality.

"The growth of this club has been too fast; since we started it, it has been two and a half years that we have been pushing expectations," he added.

"We are aware of what we are; we have a clear vision. A masterpiece, but from today we start to prepare for a tough and different season."
