Chelsea have rejected an attempt from Juventus to swap Miralem Pjanic for Jorginho according to Calciomercato.

The Bosnian star looks to be on his way out of the Serie A giants and has been heavily linked with a switch to Barcelona, with Brazilian Arthur Melo possibly going to the other way.

Thirty-year-old Pjanic has 'listened to a proposal from Chelsea' but the Blues are not happy with Juventus' offer.

Pjanic has also received an offer from Ligue 1 outfit PSG with Pjanic resigned to leaving the Old Lady and acknowledging that 'his adventure at Juventus might be reaching the end credits'.

Rumours from Spain suggest Pjanic, who has played 33 times for the club this season, has his heart set on a move to Barcelona, but the deal is said to have hit a snag with Arthur unwilling to go ahead with the swap move.

Spanish outlet Sport reported that the Catalan side are turning up the heat on the Brazilian to accept a move to Juventus so the deal can be completed.

Jorginho played under Juve boss Maurizio Sarri at Napoli before they both moved to Chelsea in July 2018.

The 28-year-old has continually been linked with the Serie A leaders following Sarri's departure from Chelsea last June.

However, The Athletic have reported that the two 'have not communicated' in the time that has passed since Sarri's departure.

They add that the Italian international has 'fallen in love' with London and is relishing proving fans wrong under new manager Frank Lampard.
