Thomas Tuchel has batted away any suggestions over a move to Manchester United at the end of the season and claimed he has 'plenty of reasons' to stay at Chelsea.
The German's potential availability caught the football world unawares but is now a possibility given the crippling sanctions placed on Chelsea over owner Roman Abramovich's ties to Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine.
While Chelsea strive to find a new owner as quickly as possible, with final bids for the Blues from interested parties to be entered by Friday, other top-flight clubs are poised to take advantage of any financial repercussions that could see players, or even the manager, seek to leave.
Manchester United now have Tuchel in their sights, alongside long-term potential suitors Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag, but neither have the star power or trophy haul to match the German.
However, at his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea's FA Cup quarter-final against Middlesbrough, Tuchel abruptly shut down any talk of a switch to Old Trafford.
'Do you feel me less committed?' he asked in response to a question over his future. 'I said many times, I love working for Chelsea Football Club.
'This club has everything here to make me happy. There are plenty of reasons to stay.'
Tuchel has repeatedly been forced to answers questions over Chelsea's financial crisis and the effect it is having on the squad.
While admitting it is causing some unease, Tuchel has said the players are trying to work 'day to day' and focus on events they can control, such as on the pitch.
Results have spoken for themselves despite the turmoil in the boardroom. Chelsea beat Lille 2-1 to progress to the Champions League quarter final - where they will face Real Madrid.
They also edged a 1-0 victory over Newcastle in their first home game since the sanctions on Abramovich were imposed.
