Eden Hazard has further endeared himself to Chelsea fans by paying tribute to his former club with his new Nike boots.
The Belgian star sealed his long-awaited move to the Bernabeu last month with the La Liga giants splashing out in a deal worth £150million for his signature.
He left on good terms with Blues supporters, ending seven fine years at Stamford Bridge by helping the London club win the Europa League in his final game.
Hazard said the club and its fans 'will always be special' to him when he announced his decision to leave and he has now gone a step further to prove he meant his words.
The 28-year-old worked with Nike to design his own pair of mercurial vapors for the upcoming campaign and he made sure to give a nod to Chelsea.
The boots will not only feature the white and gold of this year's Madrid home kit but also the Blue of his old team.
The description on Nike's website reads: 'Racer Blue accents honor his former club while metallic gold accents nod to his new club'.
And Chelsea fans quickly took to social media to express their love for the player.
'Class act from him', wrote one while another said 'he just gets us'.
'That's good of you to honour your former team,' tweeted another. 'We still love you at Chelsea'.
Hazard's new boots can be purchased for £234.35 from Nike.com.
