Chelsea have been dealt a double injury blow before Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool at Wenbley.
Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech were both forced off in Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Lille in their Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie.
Now Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel faces an anxious wait to discover if they will be available to face Liverpool.
He said: 'I should have substituted Kovacic earlier at half-time, so could have had one more change.
'I did not see Hakim's injury, I have not spoken to the doctor. I hope it is not too much, but it is a little bit the story of the season (with injuries).
'Today is Tuesday, until Sunday it is good because there are a lot of days for us to recover, so we will take care of that.'
Kovacic limped off in the 51st minute and was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Ziyech off went off the hour mark with an ankle injury.
Tuchel added: 'We don't like to have that many injuries and would like to have more impact from the bench in a tactical matter, but it is what it is.
'Let's see, I hope the guys will be ready for Sunday.'
