A round-up of your latest Chelsea transfer news as Moises Caicedo's agent flirts with a potential summer move

Your Chelsea transfer digest for Friday, Saturday 12.

Moses Caicedo agent drops transfer hint

Moises Caicedo’s agent, Manuel Sierra, has revealed his client’s dream is to play in the Champions League. The Brighton midfielder was the subject of a transfer saga in January - bizarrely penning an open letter to leave the club.

Chelsea and Arsenal were reportedly expressing interest but the Seagulls refused to budge on their £60million price tag. Caicedo has been integral to Brighton emerging as one of the Premier League’s surprise packages this season.

However, his agent has now discussed the 21-year-old’s future, claiming he harbours dreams beyond the south coast. Sierra also namechecked a Chelsea midfielder as Caicedo’s role model.

"Now he's completely focused on the last part of the season; all evaluations will be postponed until the summer,” he said. “This is not a surprise because there aren't many other midfielders so young and talented around Europe.

“I believe he can improve in every aspect of the game. He can slot into any (team) as he is ready for it all. His dream is to play in the Champions League and to reach as far as he can in football. His idol? N'Golo Kante."

Rangers legend urges Mason Mount stay

Ally McCoist believes Mason Mount should stay at Chelsea amid reports about a potential exit. Liverpool are the Premier League club rumoured to be circling for the England star - who, like Chelsea, has endured an underwhelming campaign.

Jurgen Klopp is aiming to rebuild his midfield and Mount’s high-energy game makes him tailor-made for Liverpool. Blues supporters are desperate to see the academy product stay but talks are stalling over a new deal.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Rangers legend McCoist urged the midfielder to commit his future to Stamford Bridge. He said: “I do actually (want Mount to stay at Chelsea). He’s lost his way a little bit, which is understandable and acceptable in a club that has completely lost their way.

“It’s natural that younger players are going to suffer from it. I would like to see Mason Mount still at Chelsea.”

Chelsea freeze ticket prices

Chelsea Supporters' Trust have thanked Todd Boehly and the club's board for their decision to freeze season ticket prices for the 2023/24 campaign. The Blues will freeze their season ticket prices for a 12th successive year for the 2023/24 campaign as the club's ownership group look to keep those frustrated supporters on side.

The club's decision despite the owners spending nearly £600million on new signings over the past two transfer windows. Chelsea fans have had to endure one of the club's worst-ever seasons, where they will finish the campaign trophy-less and looking likely to end in the bottom-half of the Premier League table.
