Nkunku breaks silence
Christopher Nkunku has fielded questions on his Chelsea future ahead of a summer move to Stamford Bridge. The 25-year-old is currently away on international duty with France.
He is set to finally move to SW6 after agreeing a deal with the club earlier this season. An official announcement is yet to be made but confirmation is expected soon.
When asked about his future, Nkunku said: "I am focused on gathering with Les Bleus. Everything that happens after, we will have time to think."
Manchester United decision
Manchester United are reportedly unwilling to pay more than £60million for Mason Mount this summer as the Chelsea star looks set to make a move away from the club.
Mount, who has just over one year left on his contract, is expected to be sold if he cannot agree to a new deal to keep him at the club past 2024.
CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has told GiveMeSport that: "This is a high priority for Erik ten Hag but Manchester United are adamant that they need to be disciplined with Mount. They need to try and get him for under £60million and that, as I've said before, is because Manchester United's transfer policy is restricted."
Lukaku update
Romelu Lukaku didn't manage to impress Chelsea fans as he failed to spark Inter into a comeback against Manchester City in the Champions League final on Sunday.
The Belgian missed two big chances for his side in what is expected to be his last loan appearance before heading back to Chelsea this summer.
What is next for Lukaku is far from clear but Inter president Steven Zhang only muddied the water, he said: “Romelu loves Inter, that’s very clear. He’s great guy but he’s under contract at Chelsea.
“We have to wait and speak to Chelsea to make Lukaku’s future clear."
