Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei on Tuesday joined Leicester on a season-long loan deal.
Casadei was a star of Italy’s run to the Final in the Under-20 World Cup earlier this summer, with his seven goals from midfield earning him the player of the tournament award, as well as ensuring he finished as top scorer.
The 20-year-old had also attracted interest from Serie A clubs but has opted to link up with his fellow Italian Enzo Maresca at Leicester, who have won their opening two games in the Championship following relegation last season.
Chelsea signed Casadei from Inter Milan a year ago and he spent part of the last campaign on loan at troubled Reading, who were relegated from the second tier.
