Chelsea transfer news as winger Christian Pulisic continues to be linked with a move away from the Blues with the USMNT ace a target for Napoli ahead of the summer window
Christian Pulisic continues to be linked with a move away from Chelsea.
The United States of America winger is approaching the final year of the contract he signed at Stamford Bridge when he signed from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for £58 million. Given his age, 24, and the fact he has potential and is under contract Chelsea could get a good fee for the player with Napoli said to be keen on a $32m move.
"Am I sure to keep everyone next season? Not only keep, I want to add others," he told Italian media outlet La Repubblica. "I would like to have an American and a Japanese player, but I don't want to sell any of our players."
Pulisic, meanwhile, has not seen any action in the past four matches with the player left on the substitute's bench for three of them. Interim boss Frank Lampard has only handed Pulisic two outings as the American's career at Chelsea seemingly draws to a close.
Pulisic has had little to say on the matter on social media but did move to post a 'paid partnership' with Puma to his Instagram account on Tuesday. As well as Pulisic, Puma also have an exclusive merchandise deal with Jack Grealish.
There is clearly value for sponsors given Pulisic's status with the USMNT despite his struggles with Chelsea. "Made for speed," Pulisic posted on Instagram, along with a link to Puma's new collaboration with Pulisic.
