Chelsea transfer news: Christian Pulisic's latest social media activity sparks fans into excitement ahead of summer move
Fans think that they have spotted an early transfer hint from Christian Pulisic over where he is headed next. The American is away with his country on international duty ahead of the CONCACAF Nations League finals and has been open about his uncertain future.
"And right now my focus is obviously here with the national team. I'm just excited to get back playing and just enjoy myself and do what I love to do out on the field. And from there, this summer, we're obviously going to have to see what happens.
"It's obviously very early, as of right now I'm a Chelsea player and plan to go back but a lot of things can happen, a lot of things can change."
In a first non-sponsored Instagram post for nearly three months, Pulisic posted an image of himself in training with his country. Alongside Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna and Ricardo Pepi, Pulisic is sporting the new, sharp USA training kit.
The black top with red details for the badge, logo and outlines appears to be a favourite for the players and seemingly inspired his caption of a red and black circle with the USA crest. Fans, however, spotted something else and made would they see as a 'cryptic' conection.
With the links to AC Milan, supporters think that the red and black is in fact hinting at the colours of his next team. "Ac milan confirmed with that caption," wrote one user. "With the Rossoneri colors," said another whilst there were numerous responses of AC Milan GIFs.
More responses included: "You’re definitely going to Milan!!" and "Ac Milan here we go."
"People will text me sometimes and be like, 'you're going here?' And I'll be like, 'I didn't even know that.' So, they know more than me most of the time."
