According to Mundo Deportivo, the loan of 20-year-old goalkeeper Diego Kochen to Lyngby has finally been finalized after several twists and turns.

The report states that the American goalkeeper will join the Danish club on a one-season loan, with an option for the club to buy him for €1.5 million next summer.

In return, Barcelona will receive 40% of the proceeds from any future transfer of Kochen. The two clubs and the player himself had already reached a full agreement, pending only the necessary signatures from the highest authorities of all parties.

Diego Kochen's contract with Barcelona is valid until 2028. Last season, he was the team's third-choice goalkeeper, and the American player, eager for playing time, decided to go out on loan. At Lyngby, he will have the opportunity to play in the Danish top league. The Danish league's influence in European football continues to grow, with scouts from many countries, including Germany, closely monitoring it for young talents.

For Kochen, this loan is an important step in his career, as he is expected to secure a starting goalkeeper position and fully demonstrate his abilities.
