According to Corriere della Sera, Paolo Condo believes that the deals for Sebastiano Esposito and Nico Paz cannot be compared, and that Internazionale's only real regret is Sebastiano Esposito.

On the pages of Corriere della Sera, Paolo Condo commented on Nico Paz's destination. The player will ultimately stay at Como, even though Internazionale briefly hoped he would join them:
"The transfer stories surrounding Sebastiano Esposito and Nico Paz are not the same and cannot be compared; the only commonality is that Internazionale was involved in both. In the first case, Internazionale's involvement was deeper; the second case was much more understated (...). In any case, Nico will be a 'circulating check' in the future, especially after a season of high expectations, as evidenced by Fabregas's continued presence; Fabregas's standing in international football is no lower than Paz's. After Internazionale and Napoli, Como will be the third championship contender."
"Therefore, putting aside that any involvement by Internazionale was only an alternative—even though the financial hierarchy of the clubs has changed, it is acceptable for Como to develop a player and then sell him to Real Madrid, but less so for Internazionale—the true regret remains Esposito, because between the end of May and last weekend, Internazionale and Atalanta held the initiative for a long time, with negotiations based on the rumored offer of 45 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses (...)."
