Cristiano Ronaldo continues to make football history. The Portuguese forward received a Guinness World Record award before the match against Denmark in the Nations League Quarterfinals .

The Portuguese national team's leading player has earned another award by becoming the player with the most wins for his country . He achieved this record last year, when the Portuguese national team defeated Poland 5-1, with a brace from the Al-Nassr player .

Ronaldo reached his 132nd international victory. The previous record holder is a player with whom he shared a dressing room at Real Madrid . Sergio Ramos, the current Rayados defender, held the record with 131 wins  for the Spanish national team.

A record that seems difficult to surpass in the near future, as most of the players who are close to that number have already retired from their national teams . Third place goes to Iker Casillas (Spain) with 121, followed by Lionel Messi (Argentina) with 119, and Andrés Guardado rounds out the top five with 102 wins for Mexico.

This isn't the first recognition Cristiano has received in his career; the Portuguese forward has previously received Guinness World Records . The number 7 holds the record for the most goals in international football  , with over 120. This makes him the all-time leading scorer for international football.

Another achievement is that Ronaldo is the first player to reach 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League . And on social media, the Al-Nassr striker has also set a new record, becoming the most-followed Instagram account, with over 500 million followers .
