Veteran Italian coach Gigo de Canio is convinced by the potential of Lecce starlet Francesco Camarda.
On-loan from AC Milan, Camarda is already shining for Lecce in Serie A.
De Canio told Il Quotidiano di Puglia of the 17 year-old: "We're talking about a seventeen-year-old who's already racking up records. He combines power and technique, and moves with agility on the way to scoring.
"Lecce is the perfect showcase for a year of maturation.
"He suggests a great future: he's very young but already complete in every way. And he has goals in his heart, even before he does in his legs. Milan made the right choice.
"Let's try to leave him alone, let's let him grow calmly."
He then added: "We're paying for the mistakes of the 1970s with young players. We blamed their athletic preparation, prioritizing tactics over technique. However, Lecce has great faith in young players, thanks to Corvino's ability to read the game."
