Ousmane Dembélé (29) and Achraf Hakimi (27) did not take part in Paris Saint-Germain’s team training session this Saturday, a week ahead of their Champions League final clash with Arsenal.

Dembélé, who was substituted as a precaution during last Sunday’s match against Paris FC (2-1), was thus rested by Luis Enrique, who decided to organise a friendly match involving a few young players from the Academy. Speaking to RMC Sport earlier this week, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner sought to reassure his supporters, stating that he would be “100%” ready for the match against the Gunners.
Hakimi, whose last appearance dates back to the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich (5-4) on 28th April, limited himself to individual training, to the cheers of the thousand or so Parisian ultras invited to today’s session. The question now is whether he will be fit to keep his place in a week’s time or whether Warren Zaïre-Emery (20) will once again be preferred to him.
