The confusion over Ousmane Dembele's future continues after the player's agents met with the Barcelona board during the international break.
Reports prior to the meeting suggested that Dembele had told the club of his desire to leave after struggling to fit in following his £96million move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
But now another report by ESPN claims that Dembele's representatives did NOT tell Barcelona that he wanted out - and that the club do not want to sell him either.
General manager Pep Segura said it was a 'routine meeting', with no transfer plans discussed, dealing a blow to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, who have long been linked with a move for the talented 21-year-old Frenchman.
His ability is not in doubt but his attitude certainly is, with questions asked in Spain after he missed a training session due to an all-night video game marathon with friends.
Dembele has struggled since his arrival, having been hampered by injuries and mixed form, and he has been in and out of the team again this season.
He did impress, however, in the 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid last weekend, scoring a dramatic equaliser rescue his side a point.
Another suggestion has been that Barca could use Dembele as a makeweight in a shock deal for PSG forward Neymar, as they look to bring their former star back to the Nou Camp from PSG following his world-record breaking transfer in the summer of 2017.
