Diogo Jota Car Crash Scene: Vehicle Completely Burned, Debris Scattered

  /  JK25

On July 3, Diogo Jota tragically passed away in a car accident at the age of 28. Spanish media have since released photos of the crash site.

Reports state that Jota and his brother André Silva were driving a Lamborghini near the town of Cernadilla in northwestern Spain, close to the Portuguese border, when their car suffered a tire blowout while overtaking on the A-52 highway.

The vehicle then veered off the road, rolled over, and caught fire shortly after 12:30 a.m. Emergency services responded to the scene but were unable to save the two brothers.

Footage from the scene shows the charred remains of the Lamborghini overturned on the side of the highway, with rescue workers investigating the wreckage. Visible skid marks and burn traces indicate where the car left the road and turned into a fireball, while shattered parts and debris were scattered across the ground.

The accident occurred on the A-52 in the province of Zamora—a major route in Spain for drivers traveling from northern Portugal toward Santander and Bilbao or heading northeast toward France.

Emergency services in the Castile and León region confirmed the incident and the deaths of both brothers at approximately 12:35 a.m. Thursday.
