During an interview with Sky Sports, Donnarumma, the goalkeeper of Manchester City and the Italy national team, talked about his special bond with Haaland.。

On Haaland
He's a tremendous chap, with a steady temperament. He's devoted to his family, and we get on splendidly – there's an innate rapport between us. Even when we were opponents, we stayed in touch. I know he went to great lengths to bring me here; he's truly a dear friend. Playing alongside him makes everything so much easier.
Everyone considers the Premier League the world's top tier. How have your first few months at Manchester City been?
I hadn't anticipated making such an immediate positive impact in the Premier League, but that's down to the team's warm welcome. I've started well, though I must say this league is vastly different from others – the pace is relentless and the physicality is intense.
How well have you been received by the supporters?
Very well indeed. They're truly special. From my very first match, I felt a connection with the fans – it's an incredible feeling. They give you that extra bit of strength, enabling you to achieve things on the pitch that might otherwise seem impossible. When we score, I celebrate with them. For me, it's forged a truly special bond.
What aspects of Pep Guardiola's coaching have impressed you most?
I hold immense respect for this manager. He's been tremendously supportive, and our relationship is excellent. I'm delighted to be playing under him.
