PSG: First-Ever Champions League
🏆In this season's UEFA Champions League final, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Inter Milan 5–0 to win the first Champions League title in club history—a night that will forever be etched into PSG’s legacy.
Back in 2020, PSG reached the Champions League final for the first time, but that year belonged to Bayern Munich. After demolishing Barcelona 8–2 and Lyon 3–0, Bayern beat PSG 1–0 in the final with a decisive goal from Kingsley Coman.
This season, PSG faced early struggles in the group stage, ultimately finishing 15th and just making it into the playoff round. There, they crushed fellow French side Brest 10–0 over two legs. In the knockout stages, PSG then faced three Premier League teams in a row—Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal—but none could halt their momentum.
By defeating Inter Milan in the final, Paris Saint-Germain finally claimed the long-coveted Champions League trophy, becoming the kings of Europe in the 2024/25 season.
