Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Porto defender Eder Militao, who will become Zinedine Zidane's first signing in his second spell in charge.
A statement on the Real Madrid website confirmed the Brazilian will join on a six-year deal this summer.
It read: "Real Madrid and Porto have agreed the transfer of the player Éder Militão, who will be linked to the club during the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025."
Militao's buyout clause is currently 50 million euros, but it will rise by 50 percent to 75 million euros after 15 July, hence why Real Madrid want to get this deal done sooner rather than later.
The 21-year-old has impressed during his first season in Europe and the arrival of Pepe to Porto's defence has helped raise his game.
Militao, who has made 34 appearances for Porto this season, has the footballing ability and personality to play for a club like Real Madrid.
Due to his positive performances, Tite has included the centre-back in his Brazil squad for the friendlies against Panama and the Czech Republic this month.
Militao will occupy the third foreign player slot in Real Madrid's squad alongside compatriots Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
An extra number in defence could spell the end for Jesus Vallejo who could be loaned out again or sold completely with a buyback clause for Real Madrid in his contract.
