England will get their World Cup campaign up and running on Monday when they take on Iran in the opening game of Group B.
Gareth Southgate's side will be looking for a key three points to get started with potentially tricky fixtures against the United States and Wales to come.
Iran though will be no minnows as they go into the World Cup ranked 20th in the world and have the ability to cause the Three Lions problems.
England have often started well under Gareth Southgate at major tournaments, previously defeating Croatia at Euro 2020 as well as Tunisia at the last World Cup.
Iran have qualified for the World Cup for the third time in a row - their longest streak - and will look to build on good performances in Russia last time out where despite going out in the group stage put up credible fights against Spain and Portugal.
With the clash quickly approaching, Sportsmail takes you through everything you need to know below.
