Enrique snubs interview with Carragher because of the Liverpool legend's OUTFIT

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique stormed out of a post-match interview with Jamie Carragher after objecting to the former Liverpool defender's choice of attire.

The Reds legend turned pundit was sent to watch Dortmund's Champions League semi-final win over the Parisian's on Wednesday night and enjoyed a boozy time with the home fans before conducting interviews after the clash.

Carragher managed to get through a hilarious Q&A with Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho, but his planned discussion with the PSG boss was abruptly halted when the Spaniard took issue with wearing a Dortmund scarf.

Enrique's snub was revealed by Peter Schmeichel, who was also on punditry duty for CBS at the Westfalenstadion.

'In all seriousness, he's in the sin bin.' The United legend said. 'Seriously, he's upset every person here. First of all, were supposed to have Luis Enrique.

'And he came in and said, "hello" and then he left because Jamie was wearing a Dortmund scarf.

'Then because we took Jadon Sancho in, the press officer from Dortmund got a bit cross with us because that was not on the list. We've been very naughty. And I hope it's been good content.'

Earlier, Carragher had left the CBS studio in hysterics after revealing that he had downed eight pints while on Dortmund's famous 'Yellow Wall'.

Carragher said he had no trouble getting a beer pre-match as he hailed his new Dortmund 'family and friends'.

Carragher, wearing a Dortmund scarf, conducted much of his interview with Sancho with his arm around the winger, leaving the CBS studio panel cracking up with laughter.

'He's got his arm around him!' Micah Richards was heard to shout.

Thierry Henry sat with his head in his hands, before anchor Kate Abdo made an amusing joke at Carragher's expense.

'99 touches from him [Sancho] in that game tonight. 31 touches from Jamie Carragher on Jadon Sancho in the interview that he did,' she said, leaving Richards in another fit of laughter.

Dortmund will take a 1-0 lead to Paris for next Tuesday's return leg thanks to Niclas Fullkrug's goal in the first half.

As Carragher lined up alongside Peter Schmeichel to conduct the post-match interviews, a concerned Abdo asked him: 'Are you sober enough to do this Jamie?'

He replied: 'You know that's actually a good point. I haven't had too much to eat. I had a cheeseburger around half two.

'That might explain why I might be slurring my words because I've had about eight pints in the Yellow Wall.'
