Everton are still interested in signing Manchester United midfielder James Garner on a permanent deal.

United are demanding a fee of £14million plus add-ons for the 21-year-old.

Garner impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last season but hasn't played for United so far this campaign. He wasn't in the matchday squad for United's win against Liverpool on Monday.

A product of United's youth academy, Garner has made seven senior appearances for the club and also previously had a loan spell at Watford.

Meanwhile, winger Amad Diallo is attracting interest from a host of clubs regarding a potential loan move.

Sunderland and Blackpool are both interested in Diallo, while Anderlecht and Nice are also monitoring the situation.

However, Nice are more likely to make a move for Arsenal's Nicolas Pepe.

Diallo joined United from Atalanta in January 2021 amid much expectation.

He had a loan spell at Rangers last season, scoring three goals in 13 appearances.
