Arsenal and Adidas are gearing up for new kits with 2023/24 strips and training jerseys leaked online ahead of the new season
Arsenal are in the thick of a Premier League title race but attention will be turning to next season's preparations.
The Gunners look set for a long-awaited return to the Champions League and, if they beat Manchester City and Manchester United to the Premier League title, next season's kit will feature golden Premier League badges for the first time in nearly two decades. Arsenal can go five points clear of City if they beat Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
In leaked images, Footy Headlines describe a 'stunning' black top with a yellow badge and blue Adidas logo with a possible yellow Fly Emirates sponsor. Footy Headlines also 'leaked' a concept home shirt that is a classic red and white top with gold stripes and logos reminiscent of the 2005/06 kit worn in the club's last season at Highbury.
'Better Scarlet/Wonder Gold Metallic/White' are the colours described with Adidas set to use the 'Wonder Gold Metallic' colour for the first time later this year. Notably, the Adidas logo used is the new one without writing and just the classic three stripes.
Meanwhile, next season's away kit is reportedly likely to be a striking yellow with the logos black. And as far as the third kit is concerned, a version without a sponsor is expected to be available as Adidas and other football kit manufacturers continue to pivot toward making their strips fashionable for everyday use.
Adidas have a range called 'Lifestyler' that aims to create 'stylish items that fit more into the fashion category rather than sport'.
