Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello fears for Serie A over the emergence of the Saudi Pro League.
Capello rates the SPL as a genuine transfer market rival for Serie A's biggest clubs.
Ahead of Italy's Euro qualifier in England tonight, he told TMW: "Italy won three victories at Wembley... Let that be a good omen because then when we played at Wembley we had some negative results, let's hope it continues like this.
"The English invented football, but there were moments in which we taught it to them. In the 90s Italian football was the most important, now the English one is at the top.
"Now in Italy there are good players, but we don't have those who can teach others... It will be difficult to see great players in our championship, Arabia has also got involved."
