Ex-Inter Milan president Thohir: I'm happy to stay a fan; Inzaghi...?

Former Inter Milan president Erick Thohir says there's no plans to buy back into football.

Thohir owned Inter between 2013 and 2018.

He told Sportmediaset: "At the moment I don't have a takeover of the team in mind because I'm concentrated on business here in Indonesia. And then Inter is a family and to follow it you have to stay in Milan and at the moment I have to think about my country. Now I continue to support Inter only as a fan."

Asked if he's had contact with current president Steven Zhang and former owner Massimo Moratti, he said: "Unfortunately no, we haven't heard from each other for a while.

"We exchange birthday greetings and that's it. On the other hand, during the World Cup I met several former Inter players like (Wesley) Sneijder and (Marco) Materazzi and it was very nice."

On Simone Inzaghi, he added: "He's a good coach and I really like his game, he's been doing a great job in the last two years."
