Former Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll was in tears as she left Qatar after her memorable antics during the World Cup.
The stunning model gained a cult following during the tournament after wowing fans with her outfits as she teared on her beloved Croatia as they finished third overall. After making headlines with her revealing and striking choices of clothing, Knoll has seen her Instagram following sky rocket to 3.5million, but she was emotional as she left Doha this week.
In a video uploaded to her Instagram story, Knoll can be seen wiping away a tear whilst wearing a Croatia shirt as she prepared to head home.
Alongside the clip, she also wrote: “Leaving Doha is so hard for me. Mixed with happiness, sadness, confusion all together. Will miss this place so much.”
Despite her disappointment at leaving the Middle East, the model has received several messages of support from her followers, with one writing: “You came to Qatar as a model and left an international super star.”

Another commented: “Thank you Ivana for representing our beautiful country with love and pride.” A third follower added: “You are the best Croatian woman I've ever seen.”
Ahead of leaving Qatar, though, Knoll took the opportunity to amaze her fans one last time as she posed in a barely-there bikini, prompting her followers to label her the GOAT.
Knoll had flouted the advice on clothing that had been laid out for fans travelling to Qatar for the World Cup, which did see her receive criticism from some local officials.
Visitors had been told to cover their shoulders and avoid wearing short skirts when out in public. However, Knoll instead wore bras, dresses and leggings bearing the Croatian colours as she attended matches on their run to the last four.
She admitted that she was not concerned about facing repercussions for her clothing as she believed her dress sense does not hurt anyone. Speaking to The Sun, she explained: "I think how can my dress or bikini can hurt someone? Please explain me that."
