Get French Football News understands that Kylian Mbappé (24) has no interest in a move to Tottenham Hotspur amidst links to the Premier League side.
Mbappé has been the subject of intense interest, especially since his omission from the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the tour of Japan and South Korea. The France captain informed the club’s hierarchy that he wouldn’t trigger the one-year extension in his contract at the beginning of the summer. Faced with the possibility of losing Mbappé on a free, PSG are now looking to sell the player.
PSG are convinced that Mbappé has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, however, clubs are already making concrete attempts to scupper the AS Monaco academy product’s move to the Bernabéu. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal have submitted a record €300m bid for Mbappé, which PSG are willing to accept, should the player be willing to make the move to the Gulf State.
L’Équipe have also reported interest from Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Tottenham. Sources contacted by Get French Football News have reported that Mbappé is “completely uninterested” in a move to Tottenham. Whilst there is no direct contact between the Premier League side and Mbappé’s entourage, intermediaries are understood to be selling the idea. PSG are still actively pursuing a deal for Tottenham’s Harry Kane (29), who remains Les Parisiens’ top offensive target.
