On March 20, the Senegalese Football Federation announced that the new national team jerseys with two stars are in production and are expected to be officially released in September.

The Football Federation of Senegal (FSF) wishes to clarify the reaction to the new national team jerseys featuring only one star.
The FSF informs the public that production of these jerseys began in August 2025 by our equipment supplier, Puma, predating the last Africa Cup of Nations. Following our victory, production schedules and industrial constraints prevented us from halting this already initiated production process.
The FSF understands the Senegalese people's deep appreciation for their national symbol and assures all fans that the new jerseys featuring a second star are currently in production and are expected to be officially released starting this September.
The FSF apologizes for any misunderstandings this situation may have caused and thanks all fans for their unwavering support, keen attention, and steadfast love for the national team.
