According to several corroborating sources, including Le Parisien, Paul Pogba is very close to signing a two-year contract with AS Monaco. Spotted at the club's training centre in La Turbie on June 6th, he is said to have visited the club's facilities and held talks with the management.
The France international (91 caps, 11 goals) has also reportedly already found accommodation on site, a sign that his arrival at Monaco is imminent.
At the age of 32, Paul Pogba looks set to make his Ligue 1 debut, following stints with Manchester United and Juventus, with the aim of returning to the French national team at a club that has qualified for the Champions League.
Away from the pitch for almost two years due to a suspension for doping, he has been free of all contracts since his amicable termination by Juventus in November 2024.
His last competitive appearance came on September 3rd, 2023, in a match against Empoli in a Turin shirt. A few days later, a positive doping test earned him a four-year suspension, which was eventually reduced to 18 months.
