Fans can't get over Mbappe's pace as he tears Germany apart

Kylian Mbappe's star has continued to grow since breaking on to the scene with Monaco a few years ago and the teenager has even won the World Cup in that short space of time too.

The  French forward is also one of the most expensive players ever after completing his move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer and now it seems he's gunning for the title of 'world's fastest man'.

However, that moniker is held by retired sprinter Usain Bolt, who is currently enjoying trials with Australian outfit Central Coast Mariners.

Bolt is famous for recording the world records over 100m and 200m sprints in athletics but  fans have now audaciously claimed that Mbappe is quicker than the 6ft 5in Jamaican at his peak.

The claims came after France piled more pressure on Joachim Low and his Germany team as Antoine Griezmann and Co ran out 2-1 winners in their UEFA Nations League encounter on Tuesday evening.

In the ninth minute, Mbappe started a counter attack from outside his own box before sprinting past Toni Kroos on the right hand side.

As he reached the halfway line, Mbappe dumps the ball off to Olivier Giroud who plays him back down the right with a fantastic return pass.

Mbappe then leaves Mats Hummels in his dust as well as the linesman, who is struggling to get back involved with the action.

The teenager then managed to then whip a cross in, which was then cleared, but the move was applauded by supporters across the internet before France went on to win the game.

One fan simply stated that 'Kylian Mbappe’s pace is ridiculous' before others posted reactions to the sublime bit of speed shown by the forward.

One person who will not have been surprised was Mbappe's PSG team-mate Julian Draxler, who warned everyone of his electric pace before the game.

He told T-online: 'If he has space to get started, it's almost impossible to catch him with his 300 horsepower.

'His speed and his finishing [are his biggest weapons]. We must not allow him to use either, by defending very compact.'
