Fans fume BBC over broadcast issue as they are distracted during live coverage

FANS have taken to social media to complain about the painful BBC broadcast.

Rio Ferdinand, Cesc Fabregas and Micah Richards have joined Gary Lineker in the studio to preview England's opener against Serbia.

But most viewers are having trouble following as they cannot get over the grimy windows.

The BBC are set up with Berlin's stunning iconic Brandenburg Gate in the background.

But the view of the landmark was obscured by dirty glass.

One commented: "@BBC you could’ve washed these windows but ok."

Another added: "BBC could've paid to get the windows cleaned aye."

ITV caught some strays in another post, which said: "Both the BBC and ITV have been in their Euros studios for 2 days and the windows already need a good clean."

"#bbceuros windows in the BBC studios are filthy," a fourth fan chimed in.

Things did not get much better for the BBC pundits as they were attacked by hornets before the half-time break.

Joe Hart's tattoos also got plenty of flank from fans, who claimed he looked like a zebra crossing.

England fans were stunned by the price of reduced-alcohol beer on offer at the game.

Police feared fights between sets of supporters in the build-up to the and they were realised earlier today as yobs launched chairs in a bloody clash.

They insisted full strength beer should not be sold to try and keep fans under control.

And pictures from the area surrounding England’s match showed that the low-booze beer was still on sale at a hefty 7 euros, or £6, for a 500ml glass.

Declan Rice insists the Three Lions arrived in Gelsenkirchen fully prepared and ready to win.

"I think the most important thing in any opening game at a tournament is to win," he told BBC.

"That has been the total objective since we landed in Germany."
