Paul Pogba has once again watered the mouths of many fans after his incredible volleyed pass to Marcus Rashford in Manchester United's draw at Tottenham Hotspur on Friday evening.
The France World Cup winner came on just after the hour mark at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and won the penalty from Eric Dier which earned United a share of the spoils in their 1-1 stalemate.
But Pogba's involvement in the penalty incident was overshadowed on social media after he yet again displayed his long-range passing precision under testing circumstances.
The 27-year-old received and controlled the ball expertly following a ricocheted pass from midfield partner Bruno Fernandes, who scored the penalty Pogba had won minutes beforehand.
After letting the ball bounce a couple of times, Pogba swiftly raised his headed, before - in his usual languid manner - delivering a clean and sublime ball on the volley out to the left-hand side as United looked to counter.
The pass was also extremely precise and was perfectly weighted for the onrushing Rashford, whose touch however allowed Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez to recover and complete a last-ditch interception.
But Pogba's pass drew many Twitter admirers, with one user stating: 'This is insane. I said it before and I'll say it again, No one on that pitch could pull this off. Only Paul Pogba!'
Many were simply mesmerised by Pogba's incredibly skilful display, with one user stating: 'Nahh, what a pass. Pogba is unbelievable', while another said: 'Pogba is too much, look at the pass.'
Many other social media users also could not believe his skill, with one commenting: 'The quick glance and then half volley pass. Pogba you are a joke', while another added: 'This pass from Pogba though.. wow. Just... wow. There's not a lot of players in the world who can do that.'
Other users were also in awe and believe that the Frenchman is too easily criticised, with one stating: 'That pass from Pogba is outrageous. To hit that on the half volley perfectly in stride.
'Gets criticized week in, week out, but my word he is so gifted. Amazing to watch.'
Pogba's cameo however did not come in a winning cause as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side missed the chance to go level on points with fourth-place Chelsea.
