Roberto Firmino has labelled his eight years at Liverpool as the 'honour of my life' after calling time on his Anfield career.
Firmino arrived on Merseyside as a relatively unknown quantity when he joined from Hoffenheim in 2015, but went on to play a starring role for the club to become a fans' favourite.
The Brazilian forward scored 111 goals in 362 appearances for the club, winning every major trophy available, and was given a huge reception by supporters after his final game at Anfield last month.
Firmino was also extremely popular in the dressing room, and he has now released a video of his farewell speech to his team-mates, which left his wife Larissa close to tears.
'Eight years of Liverpool are coming to an end for my family and me in a few days,' Firmino said as he took to the stage in front of his team-mates and loved ones.
'Naturally, I already knew about Liverpool FC when I arrived here from Germany eight years ago. And yet, I had no idea... I had no idea how much passion that is in the club. And what a huge, huge part this club plays in the lives of so many people around the world.
'I didn't know how positively crazy and how passionate the people who work at this club are, and how much this club and this stadium means to them.
'And the truth, the truth is I never could have dreamed that it was possible to achieve what we achieved together. It has been the honour of my life so far to have been a part of this Liverpool family. You’ll Never Walk Alone.'
Firmino was visibly emotional during his speech, yet still delivered it with his famous smile, before he was joined on stage by his fellow Liverpool stars.
Club captain Jordan Henderson presented Firmino with a Liverpool shirt, while the forward was then embraced by the entire team.
Having now left Liverpool, Firmino is pondering his next career move, and could be tempted by a switch to Spain.
Real Madrid are considering a move for the 31-year-old, but Firmino wants to see how he would fit into their plans amid uncertainty surrounding Karim Benzema's future, with the Frenchman having been offered a lucrative deal to play in Saudi Arabia.
