Footage has emerged of Tottenham fans abusing Declan Rice as he prepared to take a corner in Sunday's north London derby.

The Arsenal midfielder received a significant amount of abuse from the home fans but he managed to keep his concentration as he sent in a corner.

As is often the case, it was an accurate delivery from Rice, and Kai Havertz managed to score with a header to make it 3-0 to Arsenal in the 38th minute.

Rice wasted little time in running towards the Tottenham fans and celebrating in front of them, and he was soon joined by his Arsenal team-mates.

As the goal went in, Tottenham fans were heard saying 'F*** off'.

Arsenal had taken the lead through an own goal from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg before Bukayo Saka made it 2-0.

Tottenham got a goal back in the 64th minute through Cristian Romero, with Son Heung-min scoring a penalty late on to ensure a frantic finale.

However, Arsenal managed to hold on for victory and are one point ahead of Manchester City, albeit having played a game more.

It was the second time in a week that Rice had to endure abuse from rival supporters.

During Arsenal's 5-0 win at home to Chelsea last week, some Blues fans sang abusive chants about Rice and his girlfriend Lauren Fryer.

Rice has made a major impact since joining from West Ham and will hope that his first season at Arsenal concludes with him winning the Premier League title.
