According to RMC, Mohamed Traoré, a member of Mali's 2013 Africa Cup of Nations third-place team, has unfortunately passed away at the age of 38.

Malian football is in mourning. On Sunday, Sochaux Football Club announced that former player Mohamed Traoré had passed away at the age of 38. During his time at Sochaux from 2012 to 2014, Mohamed Traoré played 11 Ligue 1 matches. Sochaux FC extended its "deepest condolences" to his family and loved ones.
According to multiple media reports, Mohamed Traoré, who ended his professional career in 2014 at the age of 26, was killed in a traffic accident on Friday.
Clubs Mohamed Traoré played for during his career included Wydad Casablanca, Agadir, Istra 1961, and Odense Boldklub.
