Former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has received a massive transfer offer from Saudi club Al-Nassr, according to reports.
The Portuguese only recently left Old Trafford after the Red Devils agreed to mutually terminate his contract as a result of his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
According to CBS, the veteran would play into his early 40s if he accepts the three-year contract offer.
The report adds that the Saudi Arabian outfit hope Ronaldo may be more willing to play outside of Europe following the Qatar 2022 World Cup. It is claimed that the offer is worth $75 million (£62 million) annually - meaning Ronaldo may make more than £186 million over the course of the contract.
Talks are said to be 'relatively advanced', with Al-Nassr and the striker's agent reportedly first making contact in the summer when he informed the Old Trafford club of his desire to leave. The article states that the decision now rests with Ronaldo, who must decide for himself whether to accept the only offer he presently has.
Elsewhere, Manchester United have reportedly 'made contact' with Barcelona's Memphis Depay.
According to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg (via the Express), United have made contact with Depay about a possible return to Old Trafford. It is even claimed that Barcelona would terminate his contract to save on his salary.
The Dutch forward came on at half-time during the Netherland’s 1-1 draw with Ecuador on Friday, yet he failed to have an impact on the match as he rebuilds his fitness. Depay did come on as a late substitute during the 2-0 win over Senegal earlier in the week, as his rebounded shot saw Davy Klaassen score deep into stoppage time.
Depay joined United from PSV Eindhoven in 2015 but left after 53 appearances and seven goals, and a return to Manchester could yet be on the cards.
