July 11, according to an exclusive report by GB News sports journalist Callum Vurley, Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a £60 million bid for Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton.

After completing deals for Mohammed Kudus and Morgan Gibbs-White, Spurs are now preparing to move for Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.

New Spurs manager Thomas Frank has been handed a transfer budget of around £175 million to finalize these three signings, which will represent a major statement of intent from chairman Daniel Levy.

Having wrapped up the Kudus and Gibbs-White transfers, Tottenham are now turning their attention to Wharton, who is highly rated. Palace value the England international at £70 million, but Spurs’ offer is expected to be around £60 million.

It remains to be seen whether that will be enough to persuade the South London club to part with the midfielder, who joined Palace from Blackburn for £18 million in January 2024. Spurs are desperate to bring in a defensive midfielder and consider Wharton one of the best young options in the Premier League.
