Fabrizio Romano reports that Galatasary are moving closer to secure the services of Leandro Paredes from Paris Saint-Germain. The Turkish club are reportedly nearing an agreement with PSG, settling on a €6 million fee for the Argentine midfielder.

However, while the two clubs appear to be aligning their interests, the player himself has yet to finalize personal terms with Galatasaray. Talks between Paredes and the Turkish outfit are reported to be ongoing. Meanwhile, the situation remains fluid, with AS Roma also keeping a watchful eye on the proceedings.

Paris Saint-Germain want to sell the Argentine 2022 World Cup winner, who is still tied to the Ligue 1 champions on a contract set to expire in 2024. Paredes was already deemed surplus to requirements by Les Parisiens this past season, as he was loaned to Juventus. With the Bianconeri, the former Zenit player played 39 games in all competitions. Juventus have declined to trigger the player’s €22m permanent purchase option.
