Gary Neville has admitted being 'worse for wear' after attending a lavish party thrown by David Beckham to mark his 50th birthday last week.
Beckham threw four days of celebrations to mark the milestone, including an intimate dinner party at swanky central London restaurant Core.
His former Manchester United and England team-mate Neville was among those pictured arriving at the three Michelin star restaurant on Saturday.
Neville was seen arriving in a white tuxedo at the event, with was attended by stars including Eva Longoria, Tom Cruise and Gordon Ramsey.
Speaking on The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet, Neville was questioned by fellow pundits Roy Keane, Jill Scott and Ian Wright about the bash.
'How was the party, I’ve seen some pictures of you in the paper, you looked a bit worse for wear,' Scott asked.
Neville responded: 'It was before Sunday’s game, I wasn’t the best on Sunday.'
The pundit, 50, revealed he had left the celebrations at around 3.30am and was back working later that day.
Neville was part of Sky Sports commentary team for Chelsea's victory over champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
The former Man United star was questioned about attendees at the party by Scott, and acknowledged he was 'loosely' around Hollywood star Cruise.
Keane, however, jokingly pressed Neville on the lack of Beckham's former Man United team-mates at the celebration.
Neville was reported to be the only ex-Man United player to attend the party, as well as Beckham's long-time friend David Gardner, who he had met in the youth teams.
Keane joked: 'Did he forget about all his other team-mates? Were we not good enough, know what I mean.'
‘It is because you didn’t invite us to your 50th,' Neville replied.
Keane responded ‘You know my 50th, it was at the Pizza Express in Altrincham'.
He then joked 'I didn't want you there' when Neville declared he would have attended if invited.
Beckham's 50th celebrations had included a black tie pre-birthday bash in Miami and a family gathering at his £10million home in the Cotswolds.
The Beckham family also flew out of Oxford on the Friday for a wine-soaked stop in Bordeaux, before heading to Paris for a swanky dinner.
Beckham had delivered a touching speech when he attended Neville's 50th celebrations earlier this year.
