Roma will face Cagliari in the eighth round of Serie A. As usual, Gasperini answered questions from the media at the pre-match press conference at the Trigoria training ground. The Roma coach discussed various topics and also reviewed the matches against Internazionale and Real Madrid.
Gasperini began by discussing last Saturday's 3-3 draw against Napoli: "We're talking about evenly matched games, where victory depends on the ability to seize opportunities. Against Napoli, we were down 0-2, then equalized, and even believed we could win. Within 90 minutes, games can take different turns due to the excellent performance of certain players, and the same was true for the matches against Internazionale and Real Madrid. We encountered some difficulties, but overall, Roma performed very well. There's no doubt that after playing these matches, we have a clearer understanding of how evenly matched we are with these teams."
