Raimund Hinko, legendary reporter for Germany's Sport Bild, has written an article analyzing a critical decision facing Bayern regarding its direction for the next decade: whether to let winger Michael Olise leave.
Real Madrid has shown keen interest in the 24-year-old French international, reportedly preparing a bid of at least €150 million. Hinko issued a warning to Bayern supervisory board member Uli Hoeneß in an open letter, urging the club not to repeat the mistakes of other giants who have been "poached" by Real Madrid.
Hinko explicitly states in the article that Bayern absolutely must not let Olise go. Hinko calls Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez "wise and cunning," and advises Hoeneß to "press the red button," clearly telling Real Madrid "this won't work." He even joked that if Real Madrid increases the price to 200 million euros, Hoeneß shouldn't waver; if absolutely necessary, they could even return the "Bernabéu Trophy" commemorative trophy to Real Madrid, to provoke them and force out the truth. The article concludes by emphasizing that Bayern should firmly retain the player and must not fall into Real Madrid's usual transfer trap.
