In the second half, Joshua Kimmich assisted Florian Wirtz, who scored a header to give Germany the lead. Soon after, young Francisco Conceição equalized for Portugal with a stunning long-range strike. Later, Nuno Mendes delivered a low cross, and Ronaldo finished from close range to complete the comeback.
Portugal secured a 2–1 victory over Germany and will face the winner between Spain and France in the final.
