Getafe manager has said it will be Manchester United who have the final say over Mason Greenwood's future.
Jose Bordalas expressed his contentment with Greenwood's performance, having scored eight goals in 27 games for the Spanish outfit.
However, the ultimate decision regarding his future lies with his home club Manchester United.
Getafe are open to a transfer or another loan, although recent reports suggested that Manchester United's squad were not opposed to him returning.
The forward, 22, was charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour in October 2022, but the charges and case were dropped in February 2023 when key witnesses withdrew.
Getafe boss Bordalas said: 'In the end his club decides and also the boy's intentions regarding his future count.
'But I can say we are happy with his behaviour and his performance.'
Reports suggest that United want £40m for the striker despite the fact that he will have just one year left on his Red Devils deal at the end of this season.
European heavyweights such as Barcelona and Juventus have shown interest in acquiring Greenwood, with the move to Barcelona a 'dream' for Greenwood.
Greenwood is a long-term target for the Catalan giants and reports towards the end of December suggested that they were weighing up a £40million move for the United exile.
Greenwood has not set LaLiga alight by any means but he has on occasion produced the flashes of quality.
The LaLiga club could look to extend his loan, although Man United are reportedly looking to keep him or cash-in and sell the 22-year-old.
