Ghanaian witch doctor: the World Cup belongs to Ronaldo and Portugal; Turkey was accidentally cursed

According to AS, Ghanaian witch doctor Nana Kwaku Bonsam has made a new prediction about the FIFA World Cup.

"This FIFA World Cup belongs to Ronaldo and Portugal," Bonsam's latest prediction states. Previously, he claimed to have cursed Harry Kane before England's FIFA World Cup match against Ghana. The prediction is not far-fetched, as Portugal is widely considered one of the favorites to win the championship. He also predicted that Kane's England would underperform in the tournament.

Compared to his previous statements about the England captain, Bonsam has clearly changed his tune this time. He now says he has lifted the alleged curse placed on Kane and insists there is no ill will between them.

Bonsam said: "Harry Kane is not my enemy. I have a child, and I will soon name him Harry Kane."

When the interviewer asked, "Have you now lifted the curse on Harry Kane? Is he free to score goals?" Bonsam replied, "Yes, Harry Kane is not my enemy. I have a child, and I will name him Harry Kane soon." The interviewer then asked, "Is it possible to curse other teams to help Harry Kane?" Bonsam laughed at the suggestion.

The Ghanaian also addressed the alleged curse ahead of England's match against Ghana, which had garnered global attention. According to Bonsam, the matter is now settled, and he no longer wishes Kane any harm.

His latest statement stands in stark contrast to his previous insistence that supernatural forces would influence England's match results. Now, he says his respect for the striker has grown to the point that he plans to name his child after him.

Bonsam also offered an unusual explanation for Turkey's poor performance in this FIFA World Cup, claiming that the Turkish team had unexpectedly become victims of his magic.

According to him, a misstep during the ritual accidentally redirected the curse toward Turkey instead of Ghana, their original intended target.

Bonsam said: "To be honest, that was a huge mistake. I had prepared a special charm to weaken Ghana's opponent at the FIFA World Cup, but during the ritual, my apprentice slipped while holding the map, and the energy shifted to Turkey."

Turkey were eliminated early from this FIFA World Cup after two consecutive losses, and Bonsam jokingly attributed their exit to that accidental error rather than their on-field performance.
