Henderson revealed that after additional free-kick practice during the international break, he asked to take one and scored the first direct free-kick goal of his career.
Henderson told the club's official website: "A few of the lads and MacPhee had faith in me, so when I had confidence in myself, I was able to step up and take it."
"To be honest, we've been practicing it in training over the past week or two, and I've been quite consistent."
"MacPhee said, 'This is what we're going to do.' Morgan wasn't too pleased about it. Palmer said, 'Which corner flag are we celebrating at?'"
"Because it's something we've practiced, and we executed it really well, I'm very grateful to Palmer and Morgan for giving me the opportunity."
