According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Allan Saint-Maximin has joined Charlotte FC as a free agent, signing a three-year contract.
Romano reports that Charlotte FC have finalized the signing of Saint-Maximin on a free transfer — Here we go! The two parties have reached an agreement on a three-year deal, and the player has already completed his medical in London. Saint-Maximin is set to begin his MLS career.
Saint-Maximin, 29, plays as a winger and has previously represented clubs including Nice, Newcastle United, and Fenerbahçe. During the winter transfer window of the 2025/26 season, he joined Lens, where he made 13 appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He left the club as a free agent following the end of the season. He is currently valued at €10 million on Transfermarkt.
