Romano said that his "Here we go" report on coulibaly transfer flopped. Burnley’s move for Dortmund centre-back Soumaïla Coulibaly (19) could be on the verge of collapse, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Coulibaly recently completed his medical tests with Burnley, had been poised to make a move to the Premier League after spending a short stint with Borussia Dortmund. The young French international joined BVB in 2021, having turned down a professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain and subsequently signing a professional deal with the German club on a free transfer.
However, the deal has encountered unforeseen hurdles due to disagreements between the two clubs regarding a mandatory buy clause.Burnley had negotiated a loan agreement with a quasi-obligation to buy for Coulibaly, meaning that if the player made a certain number of appearances, the Championship winners of the 2022/23 season would be obligated to acquire him permanently for a fee of €15 million.
Negotiations between Burnley and Dortmund had been underway for several weeks to facilitate the transfer of Coulibaly, who was contracted to Dortmund until 2026.
Romano:

…but the deal is currently off due to new problems between clubs regarding the mandatory buy clause.
