Liverpool striker Isak suffered an injury in the Premier League, and the severity of the injury is still being confirmed.

If it is confirmed to be a fracture of his left leg, he is expected to be out for a long time, which will have a significant impact on the team's multi-front campaign this season.

Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 away in the Premier League last Saturday. During the match, Isak was brutally tackled by Van de Ven after scoring. It is understood that Isak may have suffered a fractured left leg, with the full extent of the injury to be confirmed before Christmas. If the injury is as serious as feared, Isak could be out for approximately three months, or even longer. This would be a major blow to manager Slot and Liverpool.

Based on a three-month absence and a expected return date of March 20th, Isak is expected to miss 13 Premier League matches, including the crucial away game against Arsenal on January 8th, a match that could significantly impact the Premier League title race this season. He will also miss the match against his former club Newcastle on January 31st and the highly anticipated clash against Manchester City on February 8th. In the league, Isak will also miss matches against Leeds United, Fulham, Burnley, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur, and will miss two matches against Wolves.

In cup competitions, Liverpool have been eliminated from the League Cup but still hold onto their FA Cup hopes. If Isak is unavailable for the next three months, he will miss the FA Cup match against League One side Barnsley at Anfield on January 12th. If the Reds advance further in the FA Cup, the 26-year-old striker could also miss the fourth round match expected around February 14th and the fifth round match around March 7th.

In the Champions League, Isak also faces the risk of absence. He is highly likely to miss Liverpool's final two league matches: against Marseille on January 21st and against Qarabag a week later. Liverpool are currently ninth in the Champions League standings, and if they finish the league stage in that position, they will need to participate in the play-offs in February, in which Isak will likely also be unavailable. If Liverpool advance through the play-offs, the Champions League Round of 16 will be played on March 10/11 and March 17/18. Based on a three-month recovery period, Isak is unlikely to be fit by then.

Based on calculations across all competitions, Isak could miss up to 22 games for Liverpool.
