1' Icardi misses a golden chance to lead
A poor backpass back to Skorupski is intercepted by Icardi on the edge of the six yard box and he takes the shot on the turn, but he slices at it and it flies past the near post.
8' SAVE! Handanovic denies Orsolini's long shot
Orsolini hits a very powerful shot on the volley from outside the box to the bottom corner and the keeper gets down well to parry the ball away.
28' Amazing save from Handanovic to deny Santander
He had a lot of space in the box when he received the ball and tried to curl his shot around the keeper and into the bottom corner, but Handanovic makes another great save to deny him.
32' GOAL! Inter 0-1 Bologna (Santander)
He gets in front of de Vrij on a corner and just flicks the ball into the back of the net with the back of his head despite being held by the defender.
Pulgar's corner into the box missed out the first man and had enough pace on it that Santander only had to direct the ball on target.
35' CHANCE! Vecino's shot over the bar
Dalbert was nearly at the byline when he cut the ball back into the centre of the box to pick out Vecino. The midfielder took the shot first time, but leaned back when he hit it, and it sailed high over the crossbar.
50' Nainggolan's long shot saved by Skorupski
Nainggolan hits a very powerful volley from the edge of the box after receiving the clearance from a free-kick, but it is straight at Skorupski who is knocked to the ground as he parries the shot away.
65' CLOSE! Lautaro's header wide out
The substitute was left in a lot of room on the edge of the six yard box and he tried to just direct the cross on target and use the pace already on the ball, but he didn't make the best contact with it and his effort was wide of the far post.
86' Ranocchia almost scores with a volley
The ball came to him in the centre of the box and he set himself to hit a powerful shot on the volley. Skorupski made a great save to deby him as he dived across his line and got two hands to it to push it away.
Match Report
Inter's winless run was stretched to four matches in all competitions as Sinisa Mihajlovic's struggling Bologna triumphed 1-0 at San Siro, in the process securing their first Serie A win since September.
With the distraction of the transfer window out of the way, Ivan Perisic was back for the Nerazzurri but they still lacked fluency as they followed up a Coppa Italia exit on penalties to Lazio by losing at home.
Bologna - led by ex-Inter man Mihajlovic in the first match of his second stint as coach - fully deserved a half-time lead secured by Federico Santander, who threatened throughout.
And Inter's response after the break was tame, with Luciano Spalletti's team struggling to service Mauro Icardi as they made it far too easy for their determined opponents.
